Psychiatric Assessment, Evaluation and Diagnosis

Initial assessment consists of a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand symptoms and determine diagnosis and appropriate treatment interventions. At Beacon Health and Wellness, we will develop your individualized treatment plan based on your unique goals, circumstances and expectations to optimize well being.

Psychotherapy helps patients understand themselves and their problems more realistically and identify healthy coping mechanisms to manage personal and interpersonal issues.

Psychopharmacology and Medication Management

Psychopharmacology is the treatment of psychiatric disorders through medicine. Medication is started only after a careful analysis of the risk-benefit ratio and its effectiveness is continually monitored.
